Sony's newest portable Playstation device goes small but mighty. According to Sony, the PSP Go wasn't made to replace an existing PSP but It made a device for a different class of users instead.
Device Specifications:
- 50% Smaller than the existing PSP 3000
- 40% Lighter than the existing PSP 3000
- Same resolution as the original PSP but with smaller screen 3.8in
- Solid Structure
- 16GB onboard storage space, expandable via the M2 memory stick slot
- No UMD drive
- Internal Battery
- Onboard Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Downloadable Games through Playstation Network PSN
and will cost $249 when it hits retail on October 1, 2009

According to sources, representatives indicated that there's a plan in the works to prevent alienation of existing PSP owners. Basically, if you already have a ton of PSP games, Sony will likely offer some sort of program so that you don't have to repurchase them.
