Samsung BX2250

In my opinion these are the pro's and con's of this monitor using its default setting.

Pro's
  • 2HDCP compatible HDMI's
  • 2ms Response time
  • 16:9 FullHD resolution
  • 1:1 Pixel mapping
  • LED technology (Power saver)
  • Accurate colors
  • Improved viewing angles
  • Plenty of OSD options
  • Elegant design
  • Excellent PC/Console gaming monitor
Con's
  • Slow and sometimes unresponsive Starlight Touch buttons (during fast successive press).
  • Black levels are acceptable, but not deep (can be calibrated to suit your viewing taste).
  • Picture quality is somewhat pale due to overly brightness level. (can be calibrated to suit your viewing taste).
  • Backlight bleed (Due to slim design).
  • TN panel (Picture quality changes when viewing on different angles).
  • Crappy cinema mode (can be calibrated to suit your viewing taste).
  • No DVI.
  • No internal speakers (but it has a standard 3.5mm audio out jack).
  • No swivel (Monitor is too light for it).
I only bought it for its fast response time to minimize input lag on fighting games specifically, Super Street Fighter 4.

Did I find improvements on my gameplay? No, it feels the same when playing on my 8ms 40S400 Sony Bravia (maybe my timing is just bad when playing SSF4 hehehe...)

Does it worth my purchase? Considering that I already have a 40in Bravia. Yes! As I can play FPS (First Person Shooter) Games without feeling nauseated due to motion blurs.

After all the calibration and testing, how do I find it? It's not perfect but, I love it!
