Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition

Street Fighter III: Third Strike was originally released at the end of the 90's. Too bad, I haven't got a chance to play with it at that time of which I only heard and read greatness from it.

After a decade Capcom has decided a remake and made it far more better than the original. While most of the game remained intact, graphical filters and screen settings has given the game a look with a touch of HD or switch back to original arcade cabinet look; playing offline has an optional on-screen side panel to track progress and challenges for special features and unlockables to look up to; and lastly a GGPO enabled online play with matchmaking system, tournament options, leaderboards and ability to upload saved matches directly to you tube. Lucky me!

For me the game is great, it has a solid gameplay mechanics, and new add-ons. What I don't like about it is the graphics. It's not that bad considering that it's a decade old game, I guess I'm just accustomed to the Super Street Fighter 4's superb graphics hehe..

Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition is already available for download via PS store for only $14.99. Not bad huh!?

Tip:
If you are experiencing blank bars on all sides, set your TV's display area to "Normal" because you are probably using "Full Pixel".
